Recently, in a West African nation, a Cru® staff member showed the “JESUS” film, based on Luke’s Gospel, in a local language. Because the venue was right across from a local non-Christian religious leader’s home, he knew that after watching and responding to the film, many viewers would be afraid to publicly declare their new faith in Jesus.

Mary struggled with high school pressures and life’s uncertainties, which led the young student to search for a deeper meaning in her journey. One night, she found it during a meeting hosted by the Great Commission Movement of Ghana (as Cru® is known there).

In the span of one week, Cru® staff member Becca Abatie saw three women accept the message of Jesus at Michigan State University. The first in a string of miracles was when Becca and a student leader met with Josephine* after she attended a Cru weekly meeting for the first time.

For five days each fall, Cru® staff members and students at Rice University in Houston, Texas, engage students, faculty and campus employees passing by with an invitation to share their perspective on five key spiritual topics.
