The joy of Christmas is found in connecting with others and experiencing hope offered through the birth of our Savior. Since 1981, neighborhood Christmas parties called “Christmas Gatherings” have brought people together for a special time designed to share the love of Jesus (and maybe some dessert). As friends and neighbors connect, a relevant space for hope is set — where the eternal story of a guest can change from when they first walked through the door.

Impact

Over the years, Christmas Gatherings have reached thousands with the hope of Jesus. We have been blessed to partner with many individuals, ministries, churches and denominations. Over a 20-year period, a few statistics of impact include:

  • 1,200 parties were held by individuals
  • 18,000 people attended
  • 2,040 people indicated that they received Christ
  • 3,600 people were interested in a follow-up Bible study

“Great God, we are blessed with the privilege of sharing your light with others. Before our plans are even set, we come to you with hearts that may be nervous or excited, fearful or overflowing, but they are surrendered. Under the promise of your presence, please be with every brother and sister reading these words, and fill them with the courage, health and support needed to engage their neighbors and friends with the opportunity to share a special time together that we call a Christmas Gathering. We are full of hope that you will move others to participate and respond to the love and life that you make possible through our Lord Jesus.
