Located in Caribbean, island between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, about one-half of the way from Puerto Rico to Trinidad and Tobago

Dominica has been and remains predominantly Catholic, but Evangelical Christians are increasing. Almost the entire population is God-fearing and open to spiritual things, yet there is much complacency and moral laxness. Due to the economic situation, many pastors have to work at a second job, and pastoral "burn-out" is a problem.
